12.31.09New Year. New Boy.When I was with my family over the holidays, my niece informed me that the Jonas Brothers are no longer cool. She told me that no one likes them anymore, no one listens to their music, and their television show was a last ditch effort to save a sinking ship. (Preteens are a fickle bunch!) 10.12.09Put A Spell On YouMy nephew was just here for a few days, and he's a big fan of all the Disney and Nickelodeon stars-- iCarly, Selena Gomez of Wizards of Waverly Place. He thought it was pretty cool to be in the same city where "Alex Russo" lives. Selena attended the Hollywood Life’s 6th Annual Hollywood Style Awards yesterday, sporting a rather elegant updo. I had to look up how old Selena really is--she's 17! Her dress and hairstyle seem a little too old and stuffy for her. Maybe along with the purity ring clause at Disney there's a bad stylist, too? Probs.
