10.15.10Yay Or Nay: Ashlee's Platinum PixieHow are you guys feeling about Ashlee Simpson's new platinum blonde pixie? (I was just starting to like her ombre extensions. Oh well.) Overall, I like Ashlee better with a warmer, darker hair color, but it's cool that she likes to change up her look. It keeps things interesting. 10.07.10Hair Weaving At McQueenAt Alexander McQueen Spring 2011 Ready-to-Wear, Guido Palau’s basket-weave hairstyles were incredible. “There were many permutations,” Palau said to Style.com of the technique, "but in the end it was highly technical yet very simple.” Palau divided models’ hair into three sections before adding extensions over and under natural strands for a woven effect, ending each panel in a skinny braid. Back panels were folded flat against the head and pinned in place before the entire head was sprayed with Redken’s Forceful 23 hair spray. 09.13.10She's Got Him On Her ThumbApparently, Katy Perry is sticking with those multicolored extensions for a while. Beside that, nothing special going on here. Katy's dress looks like it belongs on an ice rink. But you know Katy loves her over the top nails! For this year's VMAs, she applied mini pics of her fiance Russell Brand. Stephanie Pratt and Lo Bosworth were also in attendance. (I wonder how long until they stop getting invites to these MTV shindigs now that they're off the payroll?) 09.12.10LiLo Back To RedIn the past, news of Lindsay Lohan dyeing her hair red would have sent me into a hair blogging tizzy of joy, but now it barely gets a mention. (I guess I can never totally quit you, LiLo.) So, yeah Lindsay dyed her extension back to a reddish, almost strawberry blonde hue after spending months as a blonde. People said Lindsay's new look "plays up her healthy glow". Which seriously, LOL. What do you think of Lindsay's new hair color?

09.10.10Yay Or Nay On Ashlee's Fashion Week HairAshlee Simpson posed backstage at the BCBG Max Azria Spring 2011 fashion show during Fashion Week today with her super long locks extensions. Ashlee is still doing that ombre thing. I'm not hating Ash's hair at all, but it reminds me too much of Miley Cyrus' $24,000 extensions, in terms of style/length. I think I'd totally love it if she just nipped off those straggly extension ends. I actually totally dig the color! Or have I been blogging about celeb's hair for too long and am blind to ugly? Help! What do you think of Ashlee Simpson's Fashion Week hair?

08.30.10Katy Goes TechnicolorThis is such a great look on Katy Perry! So chic, cool, and sophisticated! Hee. Multi-colored hair extensions are really not my thing, but particularly with a tiger print jacket. I get that Katy has a crazy sense of style--and sometimes I like her daring choices. But I just don't get this particular look. Why would you want to look tacky? Maybe I'm missing something. Do you guys like this look on Katy?
