I was just hating on Drew Barrymore's hair on the set of her new movie Going the Distance because I thought it was too blonde for her skin tone, but now here she is looking amazing! Wtf. Her color looks great and I love this half-up style. Although, I think it would be cuter with nicely placed barrettes instead of the weird little ponytails and bobby pins she has going on. But still, the front her hair looks great, and the highlights and buttery blonde color looks flawless. Maybe it was the lighting in the other picture that made Drew's color ...

The humble bobby pin became popular in the 1920s to hold the new bobbed hairstyles. And thank god for these little guys. I don't know what I would do without them. I have about a thousand of them floating around my apartment, clipped to various articles of clothing, tucked in pockets, purses, or on vanity tops... under tables. But at crucial hair moments, it seems I never have enough bobby pins to secure that perfect bun... How cute is this bobby pin necklace from Oath? I'd never be without a pin again.
