I saw Jessica Stroup on E! News the other night and her hair is so short. I don’t watch 90210, so I’m not sure when this cut happened, but it’s cute!

It’s kind of like a modified pixie, instead of being short all over, she has longer layers in the front. Jessica had the chin-length wavy bob for a while. Remember? I even posted about How To Get The Jessica Stroup Bob…

But, semi-recently she took it much shorter. She told People, “I wanted to do the Audrey Hepburn thing.” And when she saw someone else with the cut, she got the guts to finally do it. “What sold it was when I was walking down the street outside my house, and one of my neighbors was rocking the short hair,” she admits. “And I finally I took a picture [of her] and said, ‘I’m going to copy you, are you cool with that?’” She does add that a lot of people don’t recognize her with her new cut, “and a lot people think that I’m a boy,” she jokes. “But some people think it’s chic, and when I hear that I have to give them a big hug.”

Well, hugs for HOTB because I love the look. What do you guys think?

This sleek style takes commitment for any gal to pull off, but it takes extra commitment for someone with curly hair. But our redhead was down, and Elysium stylist Jade Young was totally down. Jade chopped her past-the-shoulders hair into a sexy and stylish new ‘do. Check out how the cut went down, snip by snip!

Bye-bye long hair! Jade starts the cut with a precise blunt line in the back.

After the hair is taken to the correct length, the shape is created, and the bob gets an angled line at the jaw.

Jade blows out the hair pin straight with Oribe Gel Serum and Oribe Royal Blowout. Once the style is smooth, she goes back in for some final snips to perfect the cut.

Voila! A perfect bob with bangs. The finished look is amazing. And apparently Jade’s client was so blown away by her “after” that she passed out from sheer joy!

90210’s Jessica Lowndes was on Canada’s Much on Demand yesterday (March 30). She looked great, as usual. (I know HOTB reader Meghan hearts her!)

This one is for HOTB reader/commenter Meghan and all you other Jessica Lowndes lovers. Last night (Dec. 8) AnnaLynne McCord and Jessica hit up the PRVCY Premium Denim Launch of Lives Inspired Book & CD. The 90210 stars hammed it up for the cameras outside of Beso before heading inside. Weird. I drive by there practically daily on the way to the gym. Le sigh. My life is so glamorous!

Okay, let’s talk hair and makeup for a second: AnnaLyyne needs to ditch that frosty eyeshadow stat. She always manages to look so Kmart special to me, which I guess is kinda why I love her. Also, your roots. Dye them.

Jessica’s hair looks super glossy and the color is gorgeous, but I want her to cut a little off the length. I’m down with the extensions–she looks great with long hair, but it’s just too long and heavy. It weighs down her petite face. I would love to see Jessica with a slightly shorter, more layered cut. Why must so many young celebs have the same super LONG extensions? It’s hella boring.

Yes, I just said hella. It was kinda a typo and it stays.

P.S. It’s been bugging me who Jessica looks like, and I just realized she reminds me a bit of Soleil Moon Frye, the actress who played Punky Brewster when she was little!

I know some of you heart 90210 star Jessica Lowndes, but when I see a picture of her, I’m still like who? But that’s just because I don’t watch 90210. She’s purty and has really gorgeous hair.

Stylist to the stars Theodore Leaf made Jessica’s hair extra gorg before her 21st birthday bash at The Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. Hmm. Must be nice, right? My 21st birthday I went to the dive bar I’d been going to since I was a college freshman and was like, Oh, hi Mr Bouncer, guess what? I’m really not from Michigan! And then proceeded to do shots with my friends until my college boyfriend had to carry me home. Pretty sure no one did my hair… Although, the whole night is sort of foggy, so I suppose anything is possible.

But I digress. Theodore Leaf (best name ever) used Biolustré on Jessica’s hair to give her a glamorous, “showgirl” up-do inspired by Moulin Rouge.

To restore healthy shine to her hair and prepare for styling, Jessica used Biolustré’s intense 4-step repair system:

After blow drying, he loosely pinned back sections of curls to maximize body and volume. He then combed the top of the hair with a fine tooth comb to add height. After that, he gently teased at the roots and finished with putty to set the style. Front pieces were pinned back with a festive hair clip.

For a while now I’ve noticed that every time you see 90210’s AnnaLynne McCord at high profile events, her two tag-along sisters, Rachel (m) and Angel (l), are there for the ride. Last night (October 27) AnnaLynne even threw a 21st birthday party for Rachel at Skybar at the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood. Sweet, right? If she only knew the truth… Dun, dun, dun…!

I have this whole storyline in my head about the McCord sisters; it’s like a Lifetime channel movie of the week. Part of it is based in truth: They grew up in a trailer park (truth), Rachel and Angel are riding their prettier sister’s coattails (um, truth), but in reality they’re secretly bleeding her bank account dry with the help of Angel’s fiance DJ Robert Rogoff who use to date The Hills star Stephanie Pratt! (All TRUTH, aside from the bleeding the bank account part. I made that up in my head. Also, how the hell does Stephanie Pratt worm her way into every story??)

Wow. I can see why all the ladies love DJ Robert Rogoff. He’s hot in that crypt keeper/meth head kinda way. Ok so, DJ Robert Rogoff, Angel and Rachel are taking out life insurance policies on AnnaLynne’s ass because they’ve always secretly HATED their prettier sister and will eventually take her out by spiking her sugar-free Red Bull with Drano (that also probably non-truth?) Maybe.

Evidence! Angel trying to suck out AnnaLynne’s life force while Rachel tries to take over Rachael Ray’s gig pitching for Dunkin Donuts. (If you catch that reference, you get a million dollars.)

Jessica Lowndes, from 90210, showed up at the Hollywood Life’s 6th Annual Hollywood Style Awards on October 11, 2009, wearing this sleek, chic ponytail. If you look carefully, you can tell they used a section of her own hair to wrap around the hair tie–giving the whole look a more sophisticated feel.

Jessica’s pulled back hair looks perfect with her menswear inspired Express strong shoulder jacket and Express sequin leggings. Her slightly heart-shaped face works well with a center part, but this style would work just as well with a side part.

Backstage at the Hollywood Style Awards, Jessica tried on and fell in love with a pair of Express crystal hoops. Jessica was also honored by Sebastian Professional with the award for Breakout Style Visionary.
