Scarlett Johansson with shorter hair! She’s at Comic-Con in San Diego this weekend promoting Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger. She’s really doing the whole super hero movie thing, I guess.

So, what do you guys think of Scarlett’s beachy waves and shorter blonde bob?

Naomi Watts looked sensational at the premiere of Salt, wearing a new, shorter blunt bob with layered side-swept bangs. Inspired by the lines of the metallic strapless Gucci mini-dress that Naomi wore, celeb hair stylist Robert Vetica created a sleek look that referenced 60’s British pop, refined by a soft, natural mood. “It was quite a change for Naomi,” Vetica said of her hair.

“I cut two inches off, kept her hair blunt and collarbone length, and created bangs that swooped to the side,” he added. “The length is a bit longer in front and slightly higher in back. The bangs were first cut long and blunt, then razored and texturized to about the bridge of the nose so they looked lighter around the face and were easily swept to the side.” Vetica said that he really wanted Naomi to look fresh and young and really different.  “The look had to accent her gorgeous blonde color, have lots of shine and movement, and look really healthy and strong.”

How To Recreate Naomi’s Sleek Bob:

• Vetica started with Moroccanoil Light because Naomi’s fine blonde hair tangles so easily but can’t take too much conditioner. “Argan oil-infused Moroccanoil absorbs right into delicate lightened hair, makes it easier to comb, gives it a smoother texture, and eliminates flyaways,” he says. “It also makes blowdrying faster, all without weighing hair down.” The strands looked light and airy, as if he didn’t use any product.
• After Vetica blow dried Naomi’s hair and shaped it, he used Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray for an added boost of shine for when Naomi appeared in the spotlight.
• Vetica finished off with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray to keep flyaways at bay for the length of the evening, while still allowing the hair to move. “I did a couple of quick mists from about six inches, then put a comb through the hair right away to loosen the look while keeping its hold.”

Michelle Williams dyed her platinum blonde hair a coppery red color for her role in Take This Waltz, which co-stars Seth Rogen and Sarah Silverman. Michelle showed off her new reddish bob on the Toronto set. While Michelle looks lovely no matter what she does, I have to say I already miss the grown out platinum pixie she was wearing during promos for Blue Valentine. That look was AMAZING on her.

I can barely keep up with Kristen Stewart’s hair changes recently… Well, I mean, she had those bad extensions in and now this! (I just feel like it’s a lot, ok?)

She showed up the Late Show with David Letterman in NYC with shorter, lighter almost strawberry blond hair! KStew told MTV News “It’s kind of blond right now. Like, reddish brown. I’m doing it for On the Road.” (She plays Mary Lou in the film adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s On The Road.)

I really like this look on Kristen. I have said before that she looks pretty with practically any hair color and style (check out a whole bunch that she has had in my post on Kristen Stewart’s Hairstyles! Just as long as it’s not a mullet again.

Oh look, Victoria Beckham found Miley Cyrus‘ old extensions! Ha.

Posh last had extensions this long back in 2006 before she chopped them off for the much-emulated Posh bob. But now Victoria’s long locks are back! She debuted the look arriving by private jet (naturally) in a bright yellow dress and carrying a Birkin bag.

The Daily Express reports that almost 11 million British women alone have tried out the layered look, which was originally created by stylist Chris McMillan.

Meg Ryan’s choppy ‘do – from Meg’s Sleepless In Seattl /America’s sweetheart era, circa 2003. This is better than the Rachel, at least.

Dannii Minogue’s Sleek Bob - A bob is always classic. Looks nice on Dannii paired with blunt bangs.

Victoria Beckham’s Pob  - OK, normalcy has returned. So many people copied this asymmetrical cut.

Farrah Fawcett’s Feathered Flip - Farrah had this Feathered look on lock. She was the best. But are people really still asking for this style?

Hmm. That’s a weird list. My number one would be Mia Farrow’s Pixie. In 1968, Vidal Sassoon gave Mia Farrow this haircut for Rosemary’s Baby, and thousands of woman rushed to their hairstylist to copy the look. And they still search for images of Mia to copy this haircut.

My number two would be Blake Lively’s Layered Locks. Blake Lively’s long, blonde Gossip Girl ‘do has become a cult sensation, with thousands of women begging their stylists to give them the look.

What celebrities would be on your list?

I wasn’t loving Kim Cattrall’s look at the New York premiere of Sex and the City 2, but this sleek new bob with blunt bangs at the Tokyo premiere is fantastic!

What do you think of Kim’s new haircut?

Naomi Watts looked, well, beautiful at the Biutiful party at Cannes today (May 17). Those earrings!

I use to think this hair length was too in-between–not quite a bob and not quite long hair… But something changed, and now I totally love it. Also, love Naomi Watts too. She’s incredible.
