Hi Ty, Maybe try the dairy thing just to see if it helps, but also that jawline acne is very typically a result of hormonal acne and since you went off/on the pill that is likely why you're breaking out. so annoying. The main thing that has helped was doing all of these tips religiously and going to a derm for a few RXs. My skin is much better now. (knock on wood!)

Thanks for the post! I just got back on the BC after being off for a few months in hopes that it will clear my skin up. It's only been a week and no luck yet. What you were saying about chin breakouts and the jaw line- I have that so bad! I wonder if i cut cheese out of my diet that will help. Thats really the only diary I consume regularly. Anyways, thanks for the tips!

Hi Andrea: plain sunscreen is fine if your skin tolerates it and it blocks both UVA and UVB rays. A good broad-spectrum sunscreen should have an SPF of at least 15 and contain avobenzone, titanium dioxide, or zinc oxide.

Hi Andrea: I have been told plain old grapeseed oil, that you can find in the food oil section of Whole Foods is the correct oil to use. You want it to be 100% grapeseed oil with nothing else in it. The other two oils I linked in the post are also good and are formulated specifically for removing makeup. I have been using the Boscia Makeup-Breakup Cool Cleansing Oil (http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P254604&om_mmc=GoogleBase&_requestid=42976&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=1227891) and it's great stuff. It's expensive but it lasts a long time because you only have to use a small amount each night.

Even if I just use sunscreen and no makeup, I will use the Boscia oil to remove it before I wash my face... And I use a sunscreen only and not a mosturizer or day cream because my skin doesn't really need the moisture but if your skin is dry then, yes, you would need to use another sunscreen on top of your day cream. I would maybe recommend switching to a lotion that is more basic without sunscreen in it and then applying a sunscreen just so you aren't overloading chemicals on your skin.

Pretty good tips didnt know about the oil cleansing part.
I heard indeed about the grape seed oil but is hard to find.
So do u have another option oil option to clean up make up?
I do not use make up frequently but i do use a day cream with sunscreen.

About the sunscreen do I need to use sunscreen besides my day cream with sunscreen?
