My niece went to see Taylor Swift (and also Justin Bieber, Kellie Pickler and some other people I forget at the moment) and she said Taylor Swift put on an amazing show. She tells a story about a breakup as she performs her songs, and apparently swings her hair around A LOT. Of course, the first thing I asked was if she wore her hair curly or straight. It was curly, natch.
But at the CMT Music Awards on Wednesday night, Taylor changed it up and hit the red carpet with her hair super sleek and straight, parted to one side. She also wore a makeup look she tends to favor: dramatic cat-eye liner. Taylor’s dress was by Galliano with Lorraine Schwartz hoop earrings and Christian Louboutin for 3.1 Phillip Lim sandals. I am not in love with the color or style of the dress, but it’s cute and age appropriate, so I also don’t totally hate it. But I really love her hair and makeup. Overall, I think she looks amazing.
What did you think of Taylor Swift’s look at the CMT Music Awards?
It suits her straight, but looks like she could use a trim or some shine serum – the bottom looks a little damaged to me.
I love the way straight hair looks on Taylor. I agree with Amy about the ends, they look a little fried.
I’m not sure why but I can’t stand those curls she typically sports… maybe if they were more natural looking I wouldn’t mind them :/
I agree with Amy, it needs some shine, too matte and dry looking. But, I love it straight. I was getting tired of seeing the same curls all the time. She’s a beautiful girl.
I’d like to see her part it down the middle like Jennifer Aniston and definitely needs some shine but I like it straight.
And I took my girls to see Taylor and the amount of hair swinging that goes on in her show is whiplash inducing.
I like the overall look except for the color of the dress which is a big no no! Not youthful and not becoming on her skintone.
