Ashlee Simpson recently debuted some new highlights in her super dark hair. I actually kind of like the look, which is almost two-tone. It’s a nice change; I was so sick of her super dark hair.
It’s sort of odd, like she is growing out color… But it’s also kind of cool? She looks pretty.

Much softer and prettier. I would also say more flattering to the skin tone. hair naturally has many different colors, why make it one solid shade?
She’s trying to do the ombre look– but she totally has extensions!! You can see where they start, and where her black hair ends. It’s a great way to do the ombre look without committing!
