You love your favorite designer brands so much that you’re wiling to tot their logos around on your handbangs, maybe on a scarf or jeans, but on your contact lenses?
John Galliano says yes. Yes, you will! He created these Christian Dior Contact Lenses that are imprinted with a sheen of gold and the iconic Christian Dior logo… Crazy, right? But they are kind of beautiful at the same time. Also, creepy also amazing. I don’t know what to think. Of course, I would never wear something like this, but I think the actual gold lens, minus the Christian Dior logo, is really pretty…
What do you think? Totally amazing or totally insane?

Colored contacts screw with your vision. I wear clear contacts because I didn’t want to see the world in blue or green. I once wore red to work on Halloween just to freak out my coworkers. It was worth it, but I won’t do it again.
Chris: Ugh. Did not think of that. wimpy me, contacts in general freak me out… I don’t like the thought of something in my eyes?
That’s insane.
I used to think that, but now I can’t live without them. They are tough on people with dry eyes or allergies, though.
Chris: for now I can see without glasses/contacts, so I am in luck… because something I do have a lot of: allergies!
Darren: totally insane.
No to the logo (I don’t like logos on anything) but I’ve always admired the gold flecks in my grandmother’s hazel eyes – I kind of dig the gold pattern in these contacts.
Amy: I really like the gold too… But not so much the logo.
I don’t mind logos on my clothes or bags, but my EYE? No thank you. Contacts in general are amazing, though. Much sharper vision, and I don’t have to keep adjusting them like my glasses.
Colored contacts don’t mess with your vision, as long as they fit your eye properly. They have a clear circle in the middle for the pupil, and when you move your eye, the lens moves with it.
However, it’s hard to pull off dramatically colored lenses without it looking fake, especially if you have dark eyes!
