I saw Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber with their kids at the Malibu Country Mart in Malibu over the weekend. It’s supposedly a “paparazzi free zone”, but you can see how well that works. Rob and I had lunch there, and on either side of us were dudes with HUGE cameras just waiting for a celeb to stroll by…
Cindy is gorgeous in person, of course, but she was dressed down and kind of Malibu-mom normal looking. I mean, I loved her so much when I was younger. I wanted her in six-inch heels and boobs up to her chin. I wanted my Freedom bitch. My glamazon 90′s supermodel! Weird thing about living in LA, you’re like, oh, there’s that guy I loved on Six Feet Under picking out ripe bananas. And there’s the woman I was totally obsessed with in 8th grade buying a diet coke… Ok, fine. I guess they are just like us. Kind of kills the fantasy.
Anyway. Later that day I went to the gym and they were playing Freedom 90! So freaking good and the best video of all time. Re-enter fantasyland:

Ah yes, the 90′s was the heyday for supermodels, no? I remember watching that video endlessly on MTV back in the day. Now I watch it and wonder why there is a rider-less mechanical bull under a bed sheet? WTF, George?
Christy Turlington and Cindy Crawford still look gorgeous. Bitches.
Epic song (George Michael WAS good then) and epic video. Super stylish, sexy but not vulgar, thumbs up! (I hadn’t noticed the rider-less mechanical bull under the sheet either, I was too innocent at the time
George Michael has been know for his, hm, peculiar tastes…).
Chris: LOL. Truly they still look amazing. And the 90s were definitely the best for super models…
