The Buxom Balms are all named after beach retreats, and I sampled Copacabana, a glowy nude shade. The Balms also come in Bora Bora, a red cherry, Portofino, a plum wine, St. Barth, a lilac sheen and Waikiki, a bright berry pink. Buxom Balm is super emolient and hydrating. It’s suppose to give lips a boost of plumping action, but honestly I’ve never noticed any significant plumping from any lip plumping product. However, when you use a shiny gloss, your lips immediatly look fuller. So they work/they don’t work, you know?
This balm is super glossy, shiny, and smells great. It’s moisturizing while also being lightweight, thanks to its unique gel formula. And Buxom Balms contain protective antioxidants, like vitamin C and E, hydrating rice bran, sweet alomond oil and shea butter. There’s a refershing minty tingle when you apply it to your lips, which has to do with the plumping action, but unlike other lip-plumping glosses, it doesn’t dry your lips out! Love it. And the nude shade of Copacabana is perfection. I’m so over berry shades right now, and I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect nude. This one is awesome. Sold exclusively at Sephora. Price: $15.00
