Keira Knightley looked pretty adorb in her knit cap as she left her performance of The Misanthrope at the Comedy Theatre in London last night (Jan. 19). Keira’s got the How To: Winter Hats thing nailed. Check out those curls. Cute.
I was curious what The Misanthrope was about. Here’s the synopsis: Transported from 17th Century Paris to modern-day London, Alceste (Damian Lewis) is a famous British playwright, disillusioned and angry with the hypocrisy, shallowness and vanity of the contemporary world. Vowing to reject society, Alceste’s plans are derailed when he falls madly in love with Jennifer (Keira Knightley). An ambitious American film star and darling of the social scene, she may prove to be his biggest challenge yet. Sounds pretty good. Although, of course Keira is the social scene darling and some one’s biggest challenge yet. Predictable. Keira needs to fug it up ala Charlize Theron in Monster or something.
Unrelated: I love her boots. Unrelated: I wish it would stop f’ing raining.
