Today’s the day: The Rodarte for Target collaboration hits stores and online today (Dec. 20) and will remain available through January 31. Or until it sells out, which you just know it will. The Lace Bow Dress in yellow leopard pictured above is only $44.99 and the Lace Tights are $12.99. Good prices, but it’s kind of hideous, actually… But it’s Rodarte! What do you guys think? Will you be shopping for the Rodarte for Target line? I like some of the separate pieces, but nothing enough to run over to Target right now. Have any of you seen it in real life yet?
I didn’t realise today was the day the collection hit the shelves, but I happened to be at Target so of course I tried on a few items! The local Target here is tiny, doesn’t have the entire collection and furthermore, has only one item in each size item it stocks. LAME! I snatched up the nude colour version of the lace Slip Dress ($40) and it is just so adorable! I feel like Zooey Deschanel in it and I can’t wait to wear it. Sadly, a lot of the items in person seem cheaply made and ick – polyester! All in all, I’m glad I got my hands on the dress I wanted before it was gone. It’s just too cute!
I don’t think the clothes are ugly, but the model is not rocking them!!!

too be honest, i am not super impressed by the collection. Its kinda meh! to me.

Alyssa, I was wondering that too, like, if they had a better model who was rocking the clothes, maybe the whole collection would have read better. That’s why I’m curious what people think of it in the store…
