So, did you guys watch the last episode of The City last night? It was meh, like the whole season. I’m curious what you all think of the girls from last night’s (Dec. 1) wrap party at SL Nightclub. Left to Right: Samantha Swetra, Whitney Port, and Roxy Olin.
I’m not a big fan of those quilted Chanel bags, like the one Samantha is carrying. Lauren Conrad always had that black Chanel bag, remember? I know they’re classics and are popular right now, but they look so old ladyish to me. Samantha is also doing the dotted tights trend, which is big. I wish I could see more of her purple leather coat. That could be cute. I am kinda leather coat obsessed at the moment. Anyway. Whitney looks beautiful. Of course! Whitney is beautiful. But what the hell is she wearing? Tiny little shorts and a horrible fake fur jacket? Not feeling it. Great legs though!
Roxy. Sigh. I know over-the-knee boots are in, but pairing them with a micro-mini is treading on hooker dangerous territory. Add on top of that a disco-ball top, gold lame purse, and a fur coat? It’s just so damn much. Like, play some aspect of your outfit up–boots, top, skirt or accessories and leave everything else more neutral, you know? Every piece Roxy is wearing pops–she’s like a walking Christmas tree ornament. It’s just too much for me. And again, Whitney? I still don’t want to buy any clothes from you.

I think Roxy looks like a cheap hooker. Whitney is gorgeous as usual…the shorts and fake fur jacket aren’t my style, but she has the legs to pull the look off. Samantha’s dress looks like something I would have worn to prom in the 90s.

Tracy D, hee about Samantha’s dress. Lots ‘o black prom dresses in the ’90s, although I assume still? Anyone know? Also, I did not know until writing this post that her name was Samantha. And I watched the entire season. Thank GOD for Kelly Cutrone and Roxie or this show would have been straight up ambien.
