Every time I write about Taylor Momsen, I have to double check her age. Is she seriously 16? And if she’s 16, her parents really let her go out of the house (and to MTV studios in Manhattan!) without pants on, like all the time? Apparently TayTay did not get the fashion memo that black stockings are not pants. Say it with me now… stockings are not pants!

Chris, I agree. Sadly. And, like, yikeso. 16! I remember when LiLo had her 21st birthday and everyone was like, this chick is just NOW the legal drinking age??? So, I agree, let’s hope Taylor is just expressing her fashion self and not really just too busy for pants because she has (ahem) “other stuff” to do ala Linds.
WOW! I LOVE THIS OUTFIT. WOWOWOW. That being said it’s totally not appropriate for a sixteen year old so I’m torn. She looks way older than sixteen, wonder how she’ll dress when she’s older. Anyway, if she actually styled herself, props despite the age.
sm, yeah, it’s way too old for her… I mean. yeah. I love that she’s so into fashion and taking risks and is not some cookie cutter pretty blonde girl, but at the same time: she’s wearing black stocking and no skirt, ya know? it’s a little much for a girl who should be a sophomore in high school!
