None of you really seem to care a whole bunch about this story, but sketches of Lindsay Lohan’s 6126 expanded clothing line have come out. Guess what’s featured? Padded leggings! Shocking. According to WWD, the line will consist of 100 pieces, averaging between $100 and $150, but items like leather jackets will run you as high as $600. It will retail at Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s and Nordstrom.
The line will consist of bustiers, vests, and short, little dresses. Also, shocking. WWD states that Henri Levy, chief executive officer of DNAM Apparel is manufacturing the line. (Levy also manufactures Ed Hardy. Oh boy.)
Don’t go thinking this is a vanity project for LiLo: “She’s intimately involved from Day One,” Kristi Kaylor, principal in 6126 LLC, said. “She picks fabrics. She looks at trims. She picks buttons. She doesn’t let anything go into production without trying it on.” In 2011, the line will be looking to expand into cosmetics, handbags, shoes, and jewelry. So get ready or something.
