Wow! Rihanna had quite the look last night at the American Music Awards. It kind of reminds me of Milla Jovovich’s white bandage outfit in The Fifth Element. And it looks like Rihanna’s hair is still blonde with darker sides–pretty much the same as we have seen her for a while now. I am still hoping she will change it up soon. I am getting tired of the blonde!
Earlier in the night, Rihanna showed up on the red carpet in an extremely unique dress–it almost looks like it was made out of paper cutouts. What do you think: yes/no? I don’t love it, but a music awards red carpet is the place to take risks… It’s weird though. I get that the look she was going for was hard edge/rocker based on her stance and her makeup, but the dress, with its floral theme, actually has a feminine feel to it, even though it’s so structured. I just feel a disconnect. So overall I don’t like it, but I like that Rihanna tries different thinks and is not afraid to take risks.
Rihanna sure is a risk taker. I’m not a big fan of her, but I actually like the dress, specially the bottom part. The other outfit is kind of weird, but if anyone can pull it off, that’s Rihanna.

No. Just… NO. I feel like she’s trying to hard, and everything is screaming, “LOOK AT ME.” Subtlety can be trendsetting and edgy and go a long way without making you look like a fail whale, Ri.
