So, I was a little harsh on Ashlee Simpon’s new black hair color… But in this pic, it looks a little more natural. I don’t know. I still don’t love it on her, but she looks cute here, and the color look pretty with her pale skin.
Also, Bronx is a big baby!

My boyfriend and I had this joke that if we ever had a kid I wanted to name it Mowgli (like from the jungle book).. I’ve been saying that forever. Then Ashlee Simpson actually gave Bronx the middle name Mowgli!

Bronx Mowgli. For some reason that name has been repeating in my head since I read that comment five minutes ago. And I hope they always have LOTS of money to make up for the ass-kicking that kid is going to get on the playground in about seven years.

Chris, weirdly this reminds me of a section of White Noise by Don DeLillo. Have you ever read that book? His daughter says the phrase Toyota Celica over & over in her sleep. It’s always stuck with me since reading it in college. Anyway, I just re-picked the book up at Gloss nail salon in Silver Lake… This is such a long story. But whenever I get random phrases stuck in my head, I think of that book!

I just want to say that I really think her hair looks terrible. I don’t see any shine. You are right in that black flatters almost no one! She should’ve done a beautiful chocolate brunette and with some of her red in to highlight it.
Christy, oooh. A chocolate brown with a little red would have looked gorgeous on her, because her porcelain skin tone does look good with red hair. Wow. Now I want to see her with that color! I don’t get why she picks these “off” colors when she has access to the world’s best hair stylists? I would really enjoy that. ;)
