Does this photo of Suri Cruise in heels weird you guys out as much as it weirds me out? She’s three years old. And wearing heels. Pigtails and heels! Somebody call child protective services.
Suri was photographed in the silver heels while on a shopping trip with mom Katie Holmes today (Nov. 21) in Boston, where Tom Cruise has been filming the action-comedy Knight & Day with Cameron Diaz.
Lil’ Suri had a slight mishap though. She got stuck in the rain and slipped out of her high heels. (I hate when that happens.)
And this isn’t the only time Suri has been spotted wearing heels–she also wore them in September. Cruise says his daughter loves to dress up. “The other day, Kate showed her some gold-colored sneakers thinking she might like to wear them, and she looked at them and said, ‘Oh mommy, these are lovely, but they’re boy shoes,’” he told Hello! magazine last year. “She’s sweet, but she’s very strong-willed – just like her mother.”
She said, Oh mommy, these are lovely? Wow. That’s so… creepy. I mean, what three year old talks like that? Then again, what do I know about kids? I have a dog.
My little cousin who’s three would ask in this really cute voice to make me put on lipstick on her which i did to her mother’s disapproval.

She is the daughter of celebs, so I can understand her being more fashion-forward than most 3 year old kids, but heels while walking outside? Even heels at all? Seriously??? Yeah, it’s kinda dangerous.

Aw, Darl, that’s cute… And normal. Something weird about Suri having her own little heels, in my opinion. But like I said, I just have a dog. (Which I don’t dress in clothes, by the way!)

I still remember the first time my mom let me wear heels outside the house (not dress-up), and I was 13. Not only is it creepy to see a 3 year old in high heels, but I have to wonder if it’s bad for her little developing knees or toes.
Amy, I’m trying to remember the first time I wore heels–I was probably around that age too? I still suck at them, and cannot do stilettos at all. So maybe I should have started at three? ha. And the bad-for-you thing is a good point, too.

i bet her parents dress her in bikinis, too. that crap makes me nuts. i’m not extremely conservative, but seriously, spare your kids the sexy stuff.. at least until they can, i don’t know, read, form complete sentences, do long division, cut their own waffles, retire their binky. when i was a kid, a teddy was a stuffed animal.

OMFG THAT LITTLE GIRL IS SO EFFING CUTE! The heels look ridiculous though but it’s cute in a funny way. Black flats would make the outfit perfect.
