I love how bangs look on the right face, but personally, I hate having hair in my eyes, or anywhere near my eyes. So I’m a hair-off-the-face girl. Plus I have a small forehead, so my face looks somewhat smooshed with bangs. Camilla Belle and Reese Witherspoon looks stunning with blunt bangs. Anne Hathaway, for some reason, looks strange to me. Could be the angle of the photo.
I agree that these are all good looks! However, before you bet yourself up over not having thick enough hair to pull it off, let me advise that one of these pics is a wig, 2 are definitely extensions, and another is likely extensions as well.

jane birkin hair. that was my hair-spiration last year. until i realized that long bangs do something on a certain type of face.. i have a nose that doesn’t dominate my face, but it’s not tiny. kinda like scarlett j’s but more bridge and less bulbous tip. when my bangs come down past my eyebrows, it really accentuates the shnoz. i’m actually a fan of big noses, generally, but in my case, i’d rather accentuate my eyes :)
Long and straight was fun for a while, but i suffer the same hair volume deficit, and after a while, it feels like you have no hair style at all. now i’m on the hunt for a hairstyle with volume and texture.
Kat, about volume & texture: Believe it or not, I’m STILL working on that perm interview. I swear, it’s coming… I will get you that damn perm post if it’s the last thing I do. ;)
but who shouldn’t get bangs like this? none of my hairdressers every want to do this to me. i gotz a round face, maybe thats why? what facial shapes should stay away?
liiiiissssaaaa, you can definitely rock blunt bangs with a roundish face and it will look cute! Especially if you’re hair is on the long side. But typically with round faces, stylists go for long, side-swept bangs, to narrow and elongate the face. p.s. Hi!
