Eva Longoria celebrated L’Oreal’s 100th anniversary with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday. And Eva gave a beauty secret to OK!: “You know what product that I love the most that you have to try?,” she asked. “The collagen mascara. I always used to wear false lashes, and now I don’t have to because this mascara totally pops your eyes and I love it.”
It certainly looks like it’s working; her eyelashes look amazing! (Actually, so does her hair.) The mascara she’s talking about is L’Oreal’s Extra-Volume Collagen Mascara. She’s also the mascara’s spokesmodel, but she has to be wearing false lashes in the ad…

her hair pulled back that severely in the ad is NOT a good look for her. and those are DEFINITELY falsies.
Bren, yeah. Fake lashes for sure. I wish they wouldn’t use those in mascara ads, but whatever. Everyone does it, I guess. Eva really does have great lashes & hair though. But I agree, she looks better with her hair down and with lots of volume rather than pulled back.
Have you tried the mascara yet? What do you think?
I love Dr. Hauschka’s volumizing mascara.
Hey Suzanne, I wasn’t crazy about the L’Oreal collagen mascara, actually, even though I think overall L’Oreal is a good drugstore brand. And I have not tried Dr. Hauschka’s volumizing mascara. It’s good, huh? I’ve used some of Dr. Hauschka’s skincare products over the years & really liked them, but never tried any of the makeup. I might have to check it out. Thanks for the tip.
The Hauschka volumizing immediately adds length and shows up. It’s great when you are in a hurry. His regular mascara is more moisturizing and silky though but doesn’t show up as well.
His foundation is the best I have ever found-light, natural looking and adds a glow. Good stuff! By the way, I don’t work for Hauschka;)
Hey Suzanne, not only the Dr. Hauschka president, also a member, right?
Thanks for all the info!!
