You’ve probably heard by now that actress Charlize Theron offered up a kiss at a fundraiser this week for OneXOne, a charity that provides food, water, healthcare and education to children in Ethiopia and Rwanda.

During the live auction, Charlize offered a 2010 trip to South Africa, which included World Cup tickets, a safari and a meet-and-greet with Nelson Mandela. When bidding stalled at $37,000–much lower than the $280,00 actor Jeremy Piven had raised in the auction–Charlize got creative. According to US Magazine, Charlize said, “For fucks sake! You can do better,” she told attendees. “There is no way I am leaving here with Jeremy Piven getting a higher bid. I’ve got tits for God’s sake.”

To sweeten the pot, she offered up a 7-second kiss for $130,000 to [one of the male bidders]. “Swine flu is going around. This is high risk kissing!” she told him. After one man bid $135,000, a woman upped the stakes to $140,000–ascending the stage for a 20-second smooch as the audience counted down.

“My boyfriend is not here tonight,” Charlize joked during the auction.
