I change my routine from letting my hair go “natural” to blow drying and straightening it!My hair is like Chewbacca’s is I don’t at least use some styling cream in it! I need all the help I can get which is why I would love to win this so I have an awesome flat iron and brush to get my hair straight and sleek! This is an awesome giveaway! Thanks!
Thank goodness summer is almost over! Now I don’t have to use 4 products to keep my hair from frizzing out, and straightening it. Oh summers in the south!
For fall, winter and spring I can get away with only leave in conditioner. Au naturale and my curls come alive!
I actually tend to iron out my crazy curls more often in Fall/Winter because it’s too hot in the Summer months. Plus, I love to go swimming, so it’s easier to keep it curly. :)
I could use it especially because I could use a new iron! + It’s perfect timing since it’s starting to cool down.
XOXO
As it get colder outside, my hair becomes more brittle and stale. I have extremely curly hair that i in colder months I leave straight since it is easier to manage that way. I would love to win this because I could use a new straightener an d a thermal brush seems like it would do the trick.
when summer comes, I tend to use a little bit more shampoo than usual (I can’t stand a sweaty head at the end of the day). and my typical hair style for my thick curls? throw it up in a tight bun and hope my hair grows faster.=) durng the fall, I use less shampoo and a lot more conditioner. my hair style choice for the fall days in SFC? down to keep my ears warm.
I have just recently really started “doing” my hair. So this is probably the biggest change I will EVER have from summer to fall. Making sure my hair isn’t getting too dry is the number 1 thing I have to do in the winter! I have fine, thick hair, that has no volume at the roots, too! The roll brush would be a great solution to this problem!
Thanks for doing a giveaway!!
My hair routine changes drastically from summer to fall. When fall arrives, no longer can I get away with spritzing beach hair spray and fluffing my hair. No more haphazard highlights that may or may not be natural. No more Pippi-Longstocking ponytails disguising the fact that I didn’t wash my hair … AGAIN. No, it’s time to get serious about my hair and get back into the routine. Wash, condition, saturate with product, blow-dry, hot-roller, repeat.
I need this prize package to keep me from hacking off my mid-back-length hair in frustration.
Beacause of where I live I do more hairstyles in the summer up. Then as the season change my hairstyles become down. These products would help me style and give me the look I need to have!

my hair routine changes through the year. during winter and spring months i have to be careful because of the cold weather my hair starts to frizz and gets poofy. it really is a drag because i have to shower in the night rather than the morning..in summer it gets worse my hair seems to be very flat and i cant style it as good during the winter-spring months.
i need this prize package because my iron is split in half my little sister stepped on it and broke it by accident. unfortunately i don’t have the funds to buy a new one since I got laid off so I’m stuck using the blow dryer to do my hair. i would definitely be so appreciative if i got this. College is starting and i know im not gonna be able to buy a new one for a very long time with cost of books n tuition and this would def help me transition to the new season with the flat iron i could do so much more with my hair and it would be a heck of alot easier. plus i wouldnt have to be worrying in class so much about my hair!! thank you for having such a great giveaway! god bless xoxoxo
First of all, I’ve been growing out my hair and it’s pretty long now.
Second of all, I live in Mesa, AZ. It’s hot.
The summer heat hits you hard here and it bums me out that one of the things I must do to get a few degrees cooler is… sweep up my freshly washed hair into a ponytail (which I just KNOW is causing breakage). My hair tends to take a while to blow dry as well. Because we’re trying to save money on our energy bill, I keep the AC higher than I’d like. So the heat, plus a long time under the blow dryer, means I’m drying my hair with little or no clothes on to avoid sweating.
My summer to fall/winter routine will probably not change. Instead I’ll welcome my hair laying on the back of my neck and use the blow dryer to warm my freezing body…….. I’ll most likely still be nude…… just because.
During summer, my style is super casual and messy – think beachy waves. But fall means cooler weather, and different hair! I am a big fan of straightening in the fall, since the cold weather is amazing at keeping frizz at bay! My hair is very long, so I need this package to keep it looking sleek and stylish, not limp and lifeless! Plus, my straightener just broke recently, so I’m in the market for a new one. This would be perfect! Thank you thank you!! :)
In the summer I try to leave my hair curly or wavy because its so humid where I live. Fall is pretty much my time to straighten it. I also add a bit more conditioner and some leave in conditioner because with the weather change I don’t want my hair to dry out.
Wow, those are awesome hair products! I so need them bec my hair was supposed to come out in japanese hairstyle but my mom’s salon messed up my hair so it is too short and ugly! i just want to find a way to make my hair look better. i cried twice over my bad hair cut. She said my hair is too thick and japan girls’ hair are thinner than mine so she said she couldn’t cut exact the same way as i showed her a pic of japan hairstyle. That’s my hair came out ugly and it looks like i just woke up! Those products look hot! I believe it will make my hair looks so much better!!
My hair is very thick and curly and very hard to control. All year long I have the same problem’s with keeping my hair looking good through out the day. I like to straighten my hair to make it more manageable but durring the summer I noticed I throw my hair back into a ponytail alot more.
My routine changes a lot. I go from pony tails – to keep the frizz and unmanageable mess up and looking half way decent – to in the fall, when it comes back down. I work on it more in the fall and winter, knowing it will hold any style longer; and I won’t have to contend with so much frizz when the humidity is gone from the air. It really makes a difference in the texture of my hair from fall all the way to half way through spring. I can do a lot of styles with my long hair, and it looks pretty darn good. But summer when the humidity and heat hits it is BOOooooSHHH! My hair takes on a life of it’s own; and I start looking like a deranged witch, or a homeless cat or bag lady who’s hair decided to give up on life before she did. Yes my hair does get that bad and thus the single style of the pony tail for all of the summer. That causes a lot of breakage too. It is quite the transformation from season to season for me. Right now my husband is seriously praying for the cooler weather to come. Not because he is sick of the heat and humidity, but because he is sick of my hair! Hmmm, I wonder if some new product and tools might help my hair? I guess I will know if I win! Thank you for the chance at taming my mane. And thank you from my husband and children who really think I need to win so I don’t embarrass them anymore in the summer. I guess looks do matter when hair takes on a death of it’s own. I said death because what my hair does is NOT life in any form. “folica.com – help my follicles.”
It’s so hot and sticky humid here in summer that I give up and where my head pulled and off my face and neck the whole season. Fall is so welcome because I can shampoo every other day and do a quicky easy set on Velcro rollers under a hair dryer bonnet. I could use the flat iron to try smooth out the bob on some days.
Since fall/winter in Seattle means more humidity, I’m either battling the wavy/frizzies to wear my hair straight or letting it go more natural. I wear a lot of hats, so I usually like to keep it straight, which takes a bit more work in the winter.
I tend to let my hair air dry in the summer – as we don’t have air conditioning and I can’t bare the thought of turning on my blow dryer! I’ve been enjoying spraying it with some product to get beachy waves. I think I’m going to take the plunge in the fall and get straight across bangs. It will be a huge change for me, and I don’t normally enjoy change. I would love this package so I can actually spend the time to “do” my new hair!
I have really frizzy hair. If I don’t flat iron it I look like a crazed woman. At least when it is flat I look credible and approachable. I am at ease with myself when I look good. So, I truly need these products because then I am perceived as a normal human being. Not some freaky tweaky weirdo.
My hair gets extremely dry in winter and fall, so I need a safe way to style it without damage
During winter, I HAVE to use a defrizz gel. It’s not super humid here in So Cal but any moisture in the air and my hair turns poofy! Summer, I use gel and I don’t use the hairdryer unless I have to. Especially with the summer sun, I don’t want to add to the heat damage.
During the summer I have wavy beach hair. There is no way to keep it smooth in all the humidity and I like the look for summer. But, when fall is here, I like my hair more sleek and styled. A good flat iron and the right styling product become my best friends! I really need a new flat iron and I’ve shopped at Folica before. They’re excellent…and ship FAST!!I recommend them often. Thanks.
Now that summer is nearing an end my look will totally change! During the summer I love to rock my au natural tightly coiled afro because it’s beach friendly and super low maintanence. Once the cooler weather sets in, I like to straighten my hair because it seems to fair better in dryer conditions. I definitely think I need this prize pack because it will help me tremendously as I make adjustments for my fall look!
Fall makes this bad girl go good!
In the summer I am kinky as can be: unmanagable curls everywhere; hot, humid weather wreaking havoc on all of my attempts at good hair behavior. So I just give in to its sordid desires and go curly.
When the fall comes along, she tames those naughty hair urges with a cold shower and no humidity. My hair submits and finds its well-behaved identity in smooth sleekness.
Well, not totally smooth. A flatiron is still required to teach it a lesson ;)
Thanks!
My hair goes from super frizzy and barely manageable to smoother, lankier, and less frizzy when the weather changes from summer to fall.
Luckily my hair is stick straight so all I do is wear it down in the winter and keep it up in the summer :) but i definitely use sulfate shampoo such as Bedhead Superstar to keep my color fresh and hair products such as Citre Shine Serum to make it look shiny! I think it would be great to win these prizes from FOLICA because my flat iron is from 2003 and I’m hanging on to it for dear life because I can’t justify paying $100 plus for an iron. But I used my friends CHI IRON (the shine coming from my hair was blinding) and really am jealous! I would also love to have the brush because mine is pink and some of teeth are falling off from constant usage! I heard great things from Sally Hershberger’s products but every time I go into the drugstore the products I want are sold out :) SO yes would love to win this package to resupply my deteriorating hair tool collection!
