Remember when Liv Tyler had the lob? God. I hope we’re over the loooooooob. Lob, glob, blob, bleh.
It’s sorry but the lob is the worst length. It’s just… not a haircut. Liv looks much better with her hair long again. She has such gorgeous, healthy looking hair, she might as well wear it long.
If you look at your post from 11/28 you said you “really like” this lenght/cut on both liv and gwyneth….now its the works length ever????

Well, it did look pretty on Gwyneth, but not at good on Liv. I think with her face shape, she looks prettier with long hair. Plus, I’m just tired of the non-look. I was so happy when my own hair grew out of this stage!

i kinda do like that length on her, however. not necessarily in that pic.. the make-up’s not great, and the hair is a little too kempt for my taste. would love to see a little more messy, toussled volume. i like it because it’s long enough not to feel short (if that makes any sense), while still being sharp and sassy. it’s a short hair lenth with a little softness that is probably still passable in the eyes of mainstream guys.. not that we measure everything by them!
i’m sure i’ll always lust after long hair, but the forever-enduring “hollywood hair” trend has left me looking outside the box for some variety in shape, style, length and texture.
Kat, that’s kinda what I thought re: the hating. Someone is reading carefully at least! I kinda like that kind of hate.
I think the lob just always left me feeling like… eh, they’re just growing out a bob, which ttl reminds me of all the times I’ve been growing out a bob and how annoyed I was at that stage. So really, I think I’m bringing my own hair issues into it.
