Last week, I attended MopShots‘ Eat Drink and Learn beauty event at Argyle Salon & Spa. It was the first time I had been to the salon, and it was gorgeous. Are the Oribe products sold anywhere in Chicago? Any thing especially good for color treated hair?

As for color treated hair, I would say use good products designed for color-treated hair. They tend to be more hydrating. Use a nice shampoo & conditioner and then do a deep conditioner about once a week. Also, I don’t know if you can deal with this (some people can’t) but washing your hair every other day, instead of every day helps keep color in & keeps hair healthier.
Product lines I like are for conditioner: Bumble and Bumble, product: Frederic Fekkai, deep conditioner: Ojon. Those lines make good quality products for everything though.

I thought Oribe was an exclusive salon brand? What is the benefit to my salon if its sold on Amazon?
I’m not sure that there is a benefit to your salon, Trish. But it’s sold at salons & at Amazon, which just makes it more convenient to find, I guess.
My salon (in vienna, va just outside of d.c.) has been carrying the complete oribe line for around 3 months now. we all love the performance of the products, particularly the rock hard gel and volumista for blowouts.
