Last Mother’s Day I walked with my boyfriend’s family in Chicago’s Breast Cancer Network of Strength Walk to Empower for the first time.
I was so excited since it’s a family tradition for them. My boyfriend’s mom is a breast cancer survivor and has worked for Breast Cancer Network of Strength for many years. It was a great experience, however, in typical Chicago style, it was POURING rain and freezing cold. We walked anyway and so did thousands of other people–people battling cancer, cancer survivors, family members and friends. It was inspiring, to say the least.
This year my boyfriend and I live in sunny Los Angeles, but we will carry on the tradition of walking in the Network of Strength Walk to Empower. Hopefully there won’t be some freakazoid rainstorm in L.A. that day.
If you would like to support our walk and donate to breast cancer research, please go here. Every little bit, even a dollar, helps.
Thanks!

I thank you from the bottom of my heart! Every person touched by breast cancer thanks you! love you,
Aw, thank you so much! love you too.
