According to Jan Marini: C-ESTA is to achieve firmer, more resilient skin. It contains DAE Complex–the first stabilized form of lipid soluble topically applied Vitamin C, combined with other essential factors. Within a short period of time the skin’s texture will begin to appear smoother and more supple. With continued use, the skin will appear measurably firmer, more resilient, and facial contours will appear tighter and more defined. Deeper lines will appear far less pronounced, skin pigment will look more even-toned and the skin will appear noticeable younger and healthier.
Sounds pretty great, right? I’ve just started using, so all I have to say so far is that it smells delicious, like a pina colada! And it absorbs beautifully right into the skin.
Next up, Jan Marini Skin Research Age Intervention Eye Cream. I haven’t used an eye cream in over a year because every time I try one, I break out in a rash around my eyes or worse, in eczema. But for the past three days I’ve used Age Intervention Eye Cream with absolutely no problem! I am holding off before I do a full-blown eye cream dance of joy, since I suppose I could still potentially break out. But three days seems pretty good. This one might work, fingers crossed. I will report back on Age Intervention Eye Cream and the rest of the products in about a month to let you know how my skin is reacting.
I saved the best for last. I’m also reviewing Jan Marini Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 30. I’m pretty fair skinned, although I admit I was a tanalcoholic as a teenager and I do sorta love the idea of laying out a getting a tan… But I like my healthy skin a lot better, so I slather on the SPFs and skip the sun these days. I’ve tried to wear a really good sunscreen daily for years now. I’ve been ordering this French stuff, which works well, but it gets annoying to order overseas and it’s pricey. So, yeah, I’m super psyched to try Jan Marini’s sunscreen!
Be sure to stay tuned to HOTB for my full reviews next month.
