It’s suppose to give you random waviness, which I think might look cool… Or might look awful.

IMO it doesn’t look random at all it looks like you’ve waved it with an iron. You can get a similar result from a reg marcel iron by alternating it up and down
Marcel irons scare me! I give you major props for being able to work one without burning all your hair off.
Oy. I’ve worked with something extremely similar to this and it was laaaaaame! Anyone that can make this work halfway decent deserves some kind of award.
